Christmas and New Ideas About My Future

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I sure did!
My favorite thing about Christmas is the food! :D

Recently I have been confronted to decide on a "hobby" I can do at home. My current hobby, is bowling...but I can't bowl whenever I want. And I have to go to somewhere to do it. So my dad and I decided I should create a hobby, where I make money. I love making money, I'm just really good at it, so my dad and I decided I am going to buy and sell stuff on the market. Buy clearance items at stores, and sell them for a tiny bit more on EBay or CraigsList.

So, for my "teenage-life" I am going to try and work at this. Kind of like a home job. Buying and selling things should be tons of fun!

I have also been thinking about my "adult years." What do I wanna be when I grow up? Kind of a dumb question, I should know already, right?! But, I don't...

My mom thinks I should be a chiropractor, because I am really good with my hands.

I used to want to be a cop, but the laws are just so messed up. To me, anyway...

I want to go into the army, but all this "gay rights" for soldiers is totally sick, so I doubt that will be an option for me.

I thought about going into politics, but there are millions of reasons why that wouldn't be the best idea...

So, I'm thinking, and pondering my decision, have any ideas?

Well, Have a good one!

A bonus!

Recently, I have been working at Jet's Pizza, as a "mini manager." I have gotten told that if I was 17 years old, I would be manager right away! But as I am only 15 years old, I can't work the amount of hours it takes to be a manager. So right now, I am a mini manager, working on the Pizza line is always a Managers job. On the Pizza Line, you create pizzas, and put them in the oven. Your also responsible to make sure, no mistakes happen, and everything is perfect and in order. I have made plenty of mistakes, no sausage on some pizzas, or onions instead of mushrooms...On Friday night it gets so busy, my eyes start to lose focus on the one order I am looking at, I start looking at the next one, and BOOM! Mistake pizza. :D But I don't make mistakes to often thoguh.

Anyway, as a mini manager, my boss saw the work I was doing, so he gave me a raise! :D I now get paid $8.00/hr instead of $7.50/hr. :D Might not seem like a lot to you, but for me, this is a huge bonus.

Well, hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

What's Your Idea of a Vacation?

For me, a Vacation is a time when I have no school, or work, and I get to hang out at home all day. For me, that's a vacation!

A Vacation for my family is to go see and visit new sites, like Europe, Africa, or Australia. But not to me, I think those are just to stressful.

It's not that I don't like to go see new places, but, I don't like the stress of having to take care of my little sibilings in the car, or hotel. :D But that's just me!

So, you know a little more about me,
Do you like Vacations? What's your idea of a Vacation?

Mothers

I love my mom, she cares for me everyday, and she has to put up with my foolish actions; like, talking back, or disobeying, or being controlling.

My mom is just one of those people who are exceptional at everything they do. She bakes the best food, she disciplines the little ones when needed and she cares about us. That's the most important.

This post is for my mom, for always being there when we need her.

Thanks mom, your the best!

So Many Different Kinds of Snow Shovels

I think this would break instantly!

Interesting...but there is no way to "throw" the snow.

A little extreme??? No way to control it! :D

Haha! Still, no way to throw the snow!

A normal shovel! :D
Have you found a weird shovel? Comment below and show me the picture!

Hobbies

I don't have to many hobbies, I used to play computer games a lot, and I did consider that a hobby, but now, I stopped playing, and I have only one hobby left. BOWLING

I bowl in a youth tournament every Tuesday, it's pretty fun! I get taught by a pro bowler, who has taught me how to spin my ball. I have tried to bowl for a state championship, If I win, I get scholarship money, but we still haven't heard back from the state yet, so it's undecided....

My high this year has been 208. I have gotten a couple "200" games, but my average is 150.

I bought a bowling ball two weeks ago, it's a cheap ball, $80.00, but it works for me! I just need to practice throwing the ball down the lane slower, I used to be able to throw a 15 lbs. ball 22 mph. down the lane! But now, I have trying to control my speed, and minimized it to 17 mph. Which is still fast! If I can get it down to 15 mph. I'll get a strike every time, why? Because the ball has time to roll down the lane. :D

This week is vacation day for me, we have no school for Christmas break, and I'll have plenty of time to bowl.

Well, It's time for me to get to work doing my chores,

Have a good one,
Josiah

Saturdays....

Saturdays are mostly the favorite day of the week for public school kids... no school, no church, no chores... but it's definitely NOT my favorite day.

I wake up everyday at 6:00, on the weekends, I love to wake up around 7:30-8:30...but it usually doesn't happen, why? Because was have this dog, who sleeps 2 feet from where I sleep, and when 6:00 comes around, she starts to whine...so my morning are usually destroyed by a whining dog. That's only one of the reasons why I "dislike" Saturdays...

My mom loves to keep things "neat and tighty" She likes the floors to be vacuumed every morning after breakfast, our beds made everyday, clothes put away, toys put away, shoes cleaned up, etc. She loves to have a neat house...which I'm fine with, but sometimes I wish we had a day where it's fine if we could be lazy without having to clean up wherever we go. Saturdays tend to become the BIGGEST cleaning day of the week, why? Well, we have no school, we don't go to work, and we have "time" to do this sort of thing. :D

We also have a "home church" most Saturdays, a bunch of people come to our house...30+ and we have to set up tables, etc. for them. It can be tiring...especially when 20+ of those people are 10 years and under.

There are a few things that are good that come out of a Saturday. We get to go bowling sometimes, we can "stay-up" and we don't go to work.

Well, I still have 5 more hours of this day left, I need to snap out of it...kinda feeling tired / lazy / bored / annoyed / angry / A WHOLE BUNCH OF CRAZY EMOTIONS!
A WHOLE BUNCH OF CRAZY EMOTIONS!

Have a good one,

Josiah

A Normal Friday

A normal friday for me includes, school, shopping, and work.

I am homeschooled, and as a homeschooler, I have the ability to start my school earlier, and can finish sooner. I start around 7:30-8:00 and I finish at 1:00.

A lot of people say they don't think homeschoolers get as much education as a public schooler, well, I would agree, and disagree. It really depends on the person who is studying...

I know a lot of High schoolers who are definetly smarter than me, but I also know a lot who are not as smart.

I love math, geography, and SOME science...I hate history, english, and a LOT of science...
It's not that I'm not good at history, english, or science, it's just boring, it's not what I want to o with my life.

Anyway, getting off track here,
Shopping...that's a fun one, I live in a family of 8 (including myself) and it can be hetic sometimes...having 3 little toddlers roaming about in a store can be a challenge for anyone! They love to ask for stuff, which makes me all the more mad, but I usually find myself wondering off through the sports section.

This is our specialty pizza, an 8 corner

I work today at 4:00 and I work till 9:00. Five hours, creating pizzas, cutting pizzas, boxing pizzas, etc. I make $7.50 and hour, plus tip, so it's a good paying job, for a teenager anyway. I love working when it's busy.

I'll update you guys what my day brings for the day!

Talk to you soon,

Josiah
