4 days!

Hello everyone!

Due to the Give-A-Way, I didn't write a blog post for a couple of days, just so that the Give-A-Way would be the first page up! :-)

Today, I'll be writing 4 days, into one post.

Day 19: A talent of yours.
A Talent of mine...I would have to say MultiTasking is my talent. I am really good at take control of many different things at once, and staying calm.

Day 20: A hobby of yours.

I love to Landscape, but I also love to Bowl. So I guess I have two hobbies! :-)

Day 21: Something you know you do differently than most people.

I'm a leader, I know how to take charge, when needed too...might sound like bragging, but I'm not, I'm just answering the question truthfully.

Day 22: A website.

A Website, The BLAZE This is a site I look at dozens of times each day. I read about what going on around in the world, in a truthful way.

Personal News:

I work at Jet's today, I won't stop working at Jet's until Next week. Everyone at work doesn't know yet, besides my Managers, and they are pretty bummed.

I think this Summer, I want to take it easy, not in a lazy way mind you, but I am so worn out from working in that kind of enviroment...that I don't think I can stand another job quite yet.

I'm going to purchase a membership at the YMCA. I'll ride my bike to the YMCA, that will be my work out, but then I'll "body-build" at the YMCA. Should be fun, and it will take up at least 2 hours of my day. So I shouldn't be bored.

Well, I better go, I still have school, :-)

God bless,
Josiah

Don't Forget! You can still enter the contest if you haven't already! Go to my Give-A-Way to enter!

A Give-A-Way

Today was a big step in "growing up" today... Let me first start this blog post with Day 18.

Day 18: A time when you felt passionate and alive.
I would have to say, that I felt this way, when I got my first job at Jet's Pizza.

I was so excited when I got hired. I got paid by the hour, and I was making money every week!

Today, I decided to leave that life, and change jobs.

I quit Jet's Pizza today, talked to the owners of the store, and told them why I quit. I told them I'll leave in 2 weeks, unless I find another job.

Thanks for all your prayers everyone, they meant a lot!

Anyway...Here's something for all of you to do...this is a "small" giveaway...but this is one everyone was excited for, so here you go!

Day 17: An art piece

Is this an art peice that I've created?

I don't draw...I'm a pretty boring guy... :-)

So I guess I'll skip day 17...sorry about that!

Let me show you all what I have for the Give-A-Way that's coming up....don't know the exact day yet, but it's coming up.

There will be more, but this is just what I got so far! :-) Girls, I need to know what kind of "book" your interested in...I'll ask my mom, but because most of my followers are ladies, I need some "input" about what to get you!

Thanks everyone! God bless, and have a wonderful weekend!

Day 15 and 16!

Sorry, I did it again!

Day 15: A person you admire.
The person I admire is a man well known around the World. Chuck Norris.

One of my absolute favorite movies.

This is a book Chuck Norris wrote about his life.
Chuck Norris is a God -fearing man. He loves the Lord and is a Christian. Chuck Norris' real name is Charles Norris, bet you didn't know that!

Day 16: A song that makes you cry.

I don't have a song that makes me cry...I have never cried had songs, I have cried at a movie before... The Passion...that's the only one I have cried at before.

Personal news: Sears canceled my interview, because they found someone for the position.

I applied at a retirement home near our house, I looked on their site, and their completely Christian, serving the Lord, is what they do best. So I applied as a Server/helper.

I'll let you all know how that goes,

God bless,
Josiah

Day 14

Day 14: A Vacation that you'd like to take.
I don't really care for Vacations, I myself think their too stressful. But I maybe that's because, our vacations include, driving in a packed car for 6 hours straight, hanging out in a small hotel room, and usually getting sick. :-) It's true, we went to Washington D.C. last year, and in Ohio, we got so sick, we couldn't move off the floor!

If I had to pick a vacation, I think I would go to Texas, not only for the sites, but to see what it's really like down there!

What would you favorite idea for a Vacation be?

Remember : I want to publish your blog on my blog, if you send me your blog button, to wiserstill_josiah@msn.com I will publish it on my blog!

What do you want? : I am going to have a Give-a-Way soon, and I want to know what you would like!
Comment below and tell me if you want a book, a toy, a CD, a Movie, Gift card, food, anything and you just might win it! :-)

Day 13

Day 13: A guilty pleasure.

Eating. One word...that's my guilty pleasure. I eat to much!

Not only can I eat a lot, but I can eat faster than most people. :-)
I'm always done first at the dinner table. I always get accused of "not tasting my food."

Food, is my third favorite thing on the planet! :-)

This was a short post, but I need to finish school and get my chores done, I have an interview tonight with Sears! NERVOUS!

God bless,
Josiah

I'm Curious!

Hey everyone,

This is just a short question, and I WANT you all to answer! :-)

If I was going to have a Give-Away, what would you like to win?

I'm serious! Is there a book you want? A CD? A toy?

Comment below and tell me, I want to have a give-away, especially if I get this new job! :-)

God bless,
Josiah

P.S. I also was curious if anyone had any "promising" Adopt/Sponsor a Child sites. I want to Adopt/Sponsor a child, and I want to know if anyone has a site they know is legit.

Thanks!

Day 11, and Day 12

Sorry Everyone, I keep forgetting to POST! :-)

Day 11: A photo of you taken recently.
I don't take pictures...that's what my mom is best at! :-) So I'll post the latest picture my mom took.

I think my little brother is just, awesome! :-) This is him, making a clover with his mom for school. Each leaf of the clover, represents a part of God. God the Father, Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ.

Day 12: A song that you want played at your wedding(or was played).

I haven't had a wedding...lol...if any of you are my friends on Facebook, you will notcie that I am "single".
If I was to have music playing at my wedding, I would have my Fiance choose, I think music is great, but the music I listen to, would be kinda awkward at a wedding! :-)

This week is going to be really busy for me, so please forgive me if I don't post posts continually through the week...

Monday - School, Bowling, Interveiw with Sears

Tuesday - School, Bowling League, then work at 5:00

Exciting Job News!!!

This is a short post...but I just thought I would give you all an update, about me looking for a new job.

I contacted Sears, in Coon Rapids, MN, and their are currently hiring for Cashiers, there are more options, but Cashiers is the only position that hires at age 16.

I contacted several people, and I have an interview Monday, 6:00pm!!!

I'm so excited, thank you all for your prayers and your kind comments!

Have a wonderful weekend!

~Josiah

Day 8, 9, and 10

Yep, you read that Title right, 3 days in one post! I forgot yesterday's post, and I'm gonna be really busy tomorrow...so here you go! :-)

Day 8: A thank you letter to someone who has changed your life.

Wow, this is a tough one...I could write to Jesus, and how he changed my life, but I decided that that I will post about a person that changed my life recently.

Dad,

You changed my life in so many ways, it's hard to write them all down. You helped me get a job, told me the best ways to apply at businesses. You helped me when I'm having trouble, with school, personal problems, or life. You showed me how to be a follower of Christ, not how the world teaches me to be, but biblical. I know I can be a stubborn guy, foolish and angry...but Dad, you mean everything to me, and if it wasn't for you, I would be nothing. Thanks Dad, for being there when I need you, and helping me understand how to live life.

Day 9: A photo you took.

I'm not very good at taking pictures...just don't spend much time doing it. But here's a couple pictures with a small story attached...

My parents were not home, my grandma was visiting. Our grandma is super cool, she told us we can make any kind of dessert we want to, with her help. Well, I was 13 (I think) at the time and I decided I was too old to be having help in the kitchen...I was wrong! I decided to make a couple batches of cookies, and make cookie frosting sandwiches. My grandma was really nice and went to the store for me to get frosting, that's when I made the cookie dough. I used my mom's recipe, and I thought I did everything right, guess not... As you can see below, I somehow got the cookies to go all over the pan!

I didn't know what I did wrong, so I peeled all the cookies I baked and placed them on a plate. They were all destroyed, so I moved them into a cake pan, and smashed them down using a potato masher. I put the frosting on the cookies, and place chocolate sauce on some of it to create a smiley face! :-) It was a pretty rich cake, and no one could finish their piece...

As you can see, the picture is not only fuzzy...but the cookies spread across the whole pan! :D I still don't know what I did wrong! What do you think?

The Second Batch was a little better...but they still moved across the pan!! :D

Here's the cake!

Day 10: A photo of you taken over ten years ago.

I had to go look on my Mom's blog...but I couldn't find anything, I have a picture of me as a baby, so I'll post that...

Well, there you go! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Day 7: Five things you couldn't possibly live without.

Five things I couldn't possibly live without...now that's a tough one.

I could be realistic, and say, "I can't live without water, food, shelter, clothing, or a shower" but, I think I'll be a little different.

Computer, I don't think I could live without this. I spend a lot of time on here; Facebook, blog, political news, movies, and craigslist. If I didn't have a computer, I think I would be really bored throughout my day!

Coffee, I've been drinking coffee since I was 12, and I don't intend to stop now! Some people say that coffee stunts your growth, but not for me! :-) I am 6'5" and still growing, I think coffee makes you grow!

Bowling, I go bowling everyday, providing me something to do, and some exercise. I am trying to perfect my spin, right now my average is a 150-160 game.

Bike, I spend a lot of time on my bike, riding it to the bowling center I go to, and going to work in the spring-fall.

A Family, Although my family can get on my nerves sometimes, I love them all, and I don't think I could survive without them, not yet anyway. ;-)

Well, what are your five favorite things?

Josiah

Day 6: A moment you wish you could relive.

A moment I could relive, now that's a tough one!

I have a lot of "special" moments in life, but one of my favorite was probably owning chickens. I used to live on 5 acres, and I built a small coop for about 10 chickens, I was going to expand the amount of chickens to 100, but we moved... :-)

These are not my chickens, but I did have these same breeds

So, if I could relive a moment, I would have to say, owning chickens again would be my moment.

Personal Note : Today I am calling to set up my 2nd Behind The Wheel lesson, with Sean, a driver who makes sure I know the basics of driving. He'll be taking me to Minneapolis, and we'll probably do some parking too, freaky! :-O

I still haven't found a new job, and I have applied at a couple other places...praying for a position at some company!

Hope you have a wonderful school week!

Josiah

These TV Programs are both about "cops" saving the worl

Revelation 4:11 - "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and dominion, because You have created all things, and by Your will they were and have been created."

Day 3: My Favorite Book

Hi all, today is Day 3 of my little "blogger challenge" and I will be telling you my favorite book! :-)

I don't have a favorite "book" but I do have a favorite SERIES of books. Left Behind, by LaHaye and Jenkins, is my all-time-favorite books ever. I love the excitement and how the surviving Christians live through the Antichrist's wrath.

What's your favorite book?

A personal side note: Still searching for a new job, Baker's Square isn't hiring. I applied at Cub Foods, and Target today, and I will apply at a few others.

My Review of Mauser Deluxe Sniper Airsoft Rifle

Originally submitted at The Sports Authority

The Mauser Delxue sniper airsoft rifle boasts an ultra-realistic design with bolt-action loading. It comes equipped with a bi-pod and scope for locking in your target.

Average Gun
By Shoot-A-Guy-With-A-Plastic-Ball from Andover, MN on 3/1/2011
4out of 5
Pros: Easy To Load, Looks Cool
Cons: Inaccurate, Scope/Sight Is Off, HUGE HOP-UP
Best Uses: Backyard, Airsoft Wars
Describe Yourself: Experienced
Was this a gift?: No
I tried setting in the scope, and adjusting the Hop-up, but nothing seems to work, the bb's just fly straight up when I shoot. I shoot at targets on my fence, but the bbs fly above the fence and higher when I shoot at them. I do like how easy it is to reload, and it is very strong. The gun also is nice in weight and in size. It is an excellent gun for a beginner user, but definetly NOT at this price...$250 is way to much.

(Not really "experienced"...lol )
