Psalm 51

This is one of my absolute favorite verses in the Bible. David wrote this psalm as a prayer, and I love to repeat it as a prayer too.


Have Mercy on me, O God, according to Your loving kindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Was me thoroughly from my iniquity, and choose me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.

Against You, You only have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight, that You may be found just when You speak, and blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast away from Your presence, and do not take Your Hold Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offerings. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart - These, O God, You will not despise.

Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

I did it!

Hey all! Here's the video of me drinking an entire 2-liter of Barqs Root Beer in under 3 minutes! :-) Be WARNED, I pronouced the word, "guinness" wrong in the video...the root beer kinda made my head hurt. That's my excuse! :-)

Don't Try this at home.

2 Liter of Root Beer

Hey all!

This is just a short update post, to answer those polls on the right side of my blog.

My middle name is Daniel, congrats to those who got it right!
I personally chose John as my middle name, just to try and confuse some of you....didn't work.

I haven't figured out a contest yet, it's driving me crazy! Maybe I should do a burping contest or something...that might be fun! :-)

Anyway, I am going to drink a 2 liter of Root Beer in hopefully under 3 minutes, I'll try to do it today, but I am extremely busy today!

I also added a clock, I couldn't find a HTML code for a Stop Watch...or I would have used that, but you can time me and other people on their contests.

I also placed an ad for a new movie coming out. I don't get paid for it or anything, but I just decided to share this awesome movie with you. I can't wait to see it! :-)

Well, my mom's birthday is coming up, and I need to go out and gather up a few things for her! *Wink

The Weekend

Hey all!

I promised you all a post with a contest,  to see how fast I can drink a 2 liter of Root beer, for you to beat! But...my dad told me that some people could die by drinking a whole bunch of water at one period of time, the reason why I can drink a 2 liter in under 3 minutes, is because my body is so big. The water can distribute itself (in me) in more areas than the average sized man. So, because I don't want to kill anyone, I'm not going to publish that contest.

But Give me some time, I'm trying to figure out one that everyone can do. It's harder than it seems...I want to do something that everyone can get the "materials" easily, for the contest.

If you have any ideas let me know, comment below and you might be part of the first contest! :-)


Anyway, this weekend was a pretty packed week...Friday and Saturday I worked two 10 hour shifts at Jet's Pizza! After that I was pretty tired...But Sunday and Monday we went to the beach for 3-5 hours! So that was tiring too, but fun!

Although I am quitting my job, I was told by my mangers that I could come back during the break between Semesters (in college this year). So I might be able to go back and work for a month, just to earn about $500 for insurance and Christmas presents, and other stuff that might come along the way.

Anyway, I better get going, I need to finish my Math. :-P

Starting school!

Hey all!

I started school this week, and it's been going great so far. :-)

Currently I only have 3 subjects, Math, Science, and a program called "The Argument Builder".

I will be getting a ton more subjects next month when I start college, which should be interesting.


I think I'm going to start a "Weekly Contest" that will be on my blog. Each week I'll make a video of myself, showing you all something that you have to beat to be able to win! :-) Like drinking a 2-liter of pop in 2 minutes, or something like that...

To enter you have to make a video of yourself doing the same thing I did. If you win or not it doesn't matter, just send in your movie! You'll send it in to my e-mail address wiserstill_josiah@msn.com .

You must include a clock with your video showing the time it took you to finish the challenge, I will also time myself while doing the "challenge" and you'll be able to see my time that you have to beat.

A Stop Watch works great for this kinda of thing. And if you want someone to help you with it, go ahead and ask!

I'm not sure what the prizes will be yet, I think I have an good idea of one, but I think I want there to be more than one winner. :-)

So keep your eyes open, I'll be doing the first contest sometime this weekend!
